■Safety and quality are the foundation for creating the future
As a member of the Daio Paper Group, Daio Engineering strives to create a workplace that prioritizes safety and security while pursuing high-quality manufacturing that is competitive with other companies.
Based on the three safety policies of “awareness of safety" “safe environment" and “safe work" we repeatedly implement equipment improvements and education and training until there are no sources of danger in our workplaces. The number of accident-free days has exceeded 2,000, and we are proceeding with safety activities with the aim of achieving 3,000 days.
1. Visualization of safety
Visualize safety points on site and create an environment where everyone can understand risks in advance
2. Make it a habit to “GOANZEN NI!” (Be safe !)
The greeting inside the factory is “Be safe!" All employees exchange this phrase at the beginning and end of morning meetings and meetings.
3. TBM (Tool Box Meeting)
- Identify all workplace hazards
- Perform risk assessment and formulate countermeasures
- Determine priorities of important risks and implement countermeasures
■Development of systems and personnel that prioritize quality
Quality, cost, and delivery time are all important, but we are implementing initiatives that give top priority to "quality." Prioritizing quality may increase costs or delay delivery, but rather than pursuing short-term profits, we believe that "providing products and services of good quality will lead to gaining customer trust." I believe it.
1. Ensuring and improving work standards
- Setting quantified standards to ensure uniform quality for all workers
- Add confirmation items based on past cases to eliminate variations in quality
2. Weekly quality meeting
- Group leaders and team leaders gather to discuss issues
- Clarify “who, by when, what” and implement speedy response
We aim for “zero quality problems" and will continue to make further improvements.
